Pastor Joshua Jackson

Pastor Joshua Jackson was born and raised in Waterloo and has been active in ministry since joining the Grace family during his early teens. He is a graduate of the University of Northwestern, St. Paul (B.A. Biblical Studies) and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div). During his studies, Joshua kept actively involved in local church ministry by leading bible studies and preaching. He also served four consecutive summers at Pine Lake Camps in Eldora, IA as a Counselor. Additionally, Joshua has provided religious support to the men and women of the 139th Medical Brigade and 325th Combat Support Hospital (Independence, MO) since September 2012 as a Chaplain Candidate. Joshua became the Interim Pastor at Grace August 2017 after serving as the Associate Pastor of Christian Education since August 2014.
Joshua and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for 6 years and have three children, Elizabeth, Hannah, and Adelaide. Stephanie has been actively involved in the local church all of her life and served at Pine Lake Camps as well. She has been an indispensable part of Joshua’s education and ministry, and she continues to assist him in all of his ministry endeavors. When Joshua and Stephanie have free time they enjoy strategic board games, the outdoors, and engaging conversation.
